This new specialist rock garden is built with iconic tufa rock, a perfect growing material for the rare and special alpine plants that make this botanical garden an important resource and repository for the rugged plants that can only grow at high elevations. Visitors will delight as they discover the small and hardy plants typically found only on the high mountain peaks inaccessible to many people and plant lovers.
